Background:
Alfred S. Vano is managing partner of the Civil Litigation Department of the Santilli Law Group. He has over 34 years of civil litigation experience ranging in all aspects of personal injury, from wrongful death and products liability, to auto/truck accidents and slip and falls. Mr. Vano has well over 100 successful jury verdicts and arbitration/mediation dispositions.
In the last few years alone, Mr. Vano’s tenacious style of aggressive litigation has resulted in excess of $3 million in judgments and $6 million in settlements for injured plaintiffs. Mr. Vano prides himself on not only obtaining a successful and satisfactory result for his clients, but also in being accessible to them. Your phone calls will be answered.
Mr. Vano is currently on the case evaluation and disposition committee for the E2 Nightclub disaster litigation. Despite the down turned economy, he has been instrumental in obtaining significant monetary compensation for victims of wrongful and retaliatory employment termination.
Mr. Vano graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University in Chicago. He obtained his juris doctorate at John Marshall Law School in 1977. He is licensed to practice before the Illinois Court of Appeals, the Illinois Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and the Seventh Circuit Federal Court of Appeals. Mr. Vano is a proud member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.
